Real Life Showroom
Emily Hampshire jazzes up a live-stream version of the classic trade show to reveal Delta’s 2021 innovative product line in a real home.
Project Overview
The Brief
When 2021 proved to be a non-starter for typical industry showcases, Delta Faucet needed to reimagine the classic trade show experience.
With our partners at Barkley, we helped transform a real home into the perfect showroom to introduce Delta's latest innovations. From live action to live stream (and everything in between), Wildlife handled it all.
Our Approach
Schitt’s Creek alum Emily Hampshire served as our vivacious hostess.
To fit the talent's shooting schedule, we relocated both the pre-shot content and live stream event to the Scottish countryside - making coordination key across multiple time zones, tons of content and two separate production sprints leading up to our live stream event.
Results
Emily raised the profile of the Delta Faucet launch and broke new ground in the product market to build buzz.
The efforts garnered over 100,000 views and hundreds of comments. The livestream chat concluded with a 100% positive sentiment and an engagement rate of 16.8 percent, cementing Delta as one of the most human-centric brands in the industry.
Digital Experience
In addition to handling all of the content production and gearing up for the broadcast event, Wildlife was tasked with building a custom landing page to host the 2021 product line and serve as the destination for teaser content in advance of the live-stream.
We drove sign-ups and reservations while providing the first tease of each new product. Interactive video widgets allowed users to drag custom icons to initiate full-motion clips, leveraging our high-speed beauty footage of each of the gorgeous faucets in action.
Intercontinental Live Stream
The full show came to life with a transatlantic live-stream bringing together Emily in Scotland, our brand expert in Kansas City and our audience across the country.
In addition to all of the live-action and digital production and post, Wildlife worked to ensure a flawless production across the Atlantic Ocean, with near-zero latency to ensure a natural interaction between our two talented hosts. We got creative and leveraged satellite broadband on-site, integrated with broadcast-level encoders to transmit audio and video to each location in real-time, and back out into our master live feed. The result was an engaging and seamless reveal that even gave fans a chance to ask questions and interact with our hosts.
