Project Overview
The Brief
To help drive sales growth, promote engagement and solidify Tillamook as a trusted source for great food experiences, we built an easier way to find Tillamook anytime, anywhere.
Tillamaps pairs traditional "where to buy" retail data with a map of all the delicious, mouthwatering bites of Tillamook at restaurants around the country, making it the definitive resource for Tillamook Nation.
Approach
Tillamaps is a food-focused conduit to Tillamook bites, giving fans and foodies a place to share their best finds and recommendations.
Data Aggregation
As National Cheddar Day loomed, our development team had to quickly aggregate and normalize thousands of data points, culling disparate restaurant, retail and product information into a new, unified, geotagged Tillamaps database.
We optimized the data structure, then scoured and filtered thousands of restaurant menus to automatically identify dishes starring Tillamook across the nation, in our core categories: cheeseburgers, sandwiches, ice cream, mac 'n cheese and nachos.
With this infrastructure in place, our custom management dashboard enables Tillamook to grow and manage ongoing community submissions, ensuring Tillamaps remains fans' go-to resource for their next food adventure.
Features
One-tap to share, favorite, and get directions to Tillamaps restaurants and retailers.
Dedicated Try filters let users satisfy their latest cravings, sorting dishes like cheeseburgers, sandwiches, mac 'n cheese and more while products can be narrowed by variety and type.
With the ability to favorite restaurants and stores, foodies can return to the site anytime to continue their journey to find the best Tillamook in their town — and start dreaming about their trip to the Creamery someday.
